Albert Johansson

Born on 29th of july 1926 in Stensele, Sweden. He moved to Huddinge in 1955, where he lived and worked for more than 30 years.

Between 1963 and 1973 Johansson created a serie of art works under the name "maskreliefes".
These art works are made from Santa Claus masks which he imported from Germany. After the beared and hat had been removed he arranged the masks in rows or in piles on top of a masonitpannåer that was later painted.
